After using eyedrops, i taste a bitter taste in the back of my throat!!??

Question

Sometimes when my eye is really itchy, i use eyedrops, but then like a couple minutes after, i can taste a bitter taste in the back of my throat. i know its the eyedrops!! and it happens with all different brands of eyedrops!! does this happen to you too??? or am i the only one?? and WHY AND HOW does this happen??

The same happens to me. I asked my eye doctor about his he said because it is basically all connected.
