  1. I didn't see her on CNN. but I wonder what her background and experience  are that would qualify her to be president of the United States if senator McClain were elected and something happened to him  so that  she had to serve.as POTUS.

  2. I think she knows about Big Oil Companies.  Unforturnately it take a little more knowledge than that to run this country.  Tell her to come back in 8 years - she might be ready.

  3. Never did, still don't.

  4. SHE HAS LITTLE EXPERIENCE AS A LEADER!!!

if mccain dies in office, and she takes the helm, she will ruin this country.

her record consists of being governor, mayor, PTA head

    wtf?

  5. I've been hoping for this pick for 2 months now.  I'm voting for her in November

  6. ummm...Yes, she is still unqualified.

She has NEVER been a Senator, Representative, or anything to be at the White House. Remember mccain's attack ads about inexperience? The not-going-to-be VP candidate has less to no experience. It will show when she is in a debate with Biden.

    Obama 08

  7. because of this

  8. No Doubt that she is MORE qualified than Obama !!

Alaska Govermor Sarah Palin has MORE TOTAL political experience than Obama.

    KimS

  9. Linus, based on your remark, B. Clinton didn't have the experience to be President just because he never served in the Senate or the House. Granted, Palin hasn't served as Governor as long as Clinton did, but they both served as Governors, which is a position closer to the President than a Senator or House member.

I think the Palin pick is just showing a lot of people failed their U.S. political structure classes. Or they lost the ability to compare things properly.

  10. She's a little too attractive.

Bring back the Clinton administration with Madelaine Albright and Janet Reno.

  11. ok well being govenor of alaska isnt bad but to me i am 17 and McCain just made it seem like he wanted a young pretty girl to be by his side throughout his presidency.  She came out of no where.

  12. Yes, because she has business sense and has visited the troops and been in charge of the National Guard and has shown her skill in managing money, her life and her own business. She can learn alot. People make it seem like she was growing potatoes before she met McCain.

  13. hbhh go read up on her, even if you arent conservative you will see why so many of us ae excited to have her on the ticket.

  14. She is best! There will be many independant women who only care about women being involved. It was a good choice by him.

  15. You expect an intelligent answer from the Obama Zombies.Lets see,you will receive a few it's her daughters baby.No experience, ultra conservative etc.. garbage.

She is more qualified than Obama and Bidden. She brings a fresh perspective to the position.

Biden brings 20+ years of the same old Washington politics. So much for change.

  16. she rocks

  17. was that on tonight? i thought they'd be on 60 minutes because obama and biden were but they never came on so i officially don't like 60 minutes. anyway, i doubt she is qualified because she comes from a sparsely populated state with little or no governent news for the past few years. is it because they are so far away? close to russia, which, apparently, gives palin some sort of pull in foreign relations? is it because, well, not a whole lot happens up there. i worry that she will not be able to handle a sudden deluge of information, crises, pleas and decisions. McCain needs a strong partner who can remember what he can't and Palin has had no experience there either.

btw, was it just me, or was that little blog video totally fake? Palin's mouth didn't match the words

  18. I don't watch BIAS and cheap news networks like CNBC and MSNBC.

PALIN is my homegirl. She rocks and she's HOT!

  19. Because she didn't know what the VP job was!!  She's the governor of a state and doesn't know what the VP does!!  Are you kidding me?  And the fact that she was clearly chosen as a really desperate attempt to pander to women voters.  McCain has only known her for 6 months.  Why do you believe that her "experience" qualifies her to be one heartbeat away?  I mean, I know she knows how to handle a gun and such, so she's got the part of the VP job down that requires you to shoot somebody in the face, thanks for that one d**k.  If the VP job has something to do with Duct Tape, I'm sure her time in Wasilla, whose wal-mart sells more duct tape than any other one in the nation (I lived in Alaska for 2 1/2 years),  then she'll be able to answer you completely!  I'm sure she was told exactly what to say by advisers who don't want her to sound as stupid as she did when she said, "What is it that the VP does exactly?"

  20. I've got a question for all the Obama supporters. Do you remember when Bill Clinton was running for president? He had only been the Governor of a state, with no real experience. Or when Ronald Reagan was running? All he had ever done was act in movies and serve as president of the Screen Actors Guild. Every one thought they were excellent in their job performance, except for Bill's little "under the desk job".

So what makes you think Palin can't make the grade? Look back in history for your answers and quit being stupid with the little snide remarks and catty witticisms.

  21. Gotta admit that I thought McCain lost whatever grey matter he had in that almost bald head of his. Then I started doing my "homework", checking up on what she's done with her "time" in politics. It takes a lot to impress this old bag, but this lady has done the job for me. Anyone who can take on the big wigs in her own Republican party...and win...is someone that needs to have the president's back. She took on big oil too, and came out without a scratch. And what she did with firing those dudes on the agricultural board...WOW! That takes guts, and all to keep the Creamery Board from pulling up tent pegs after getting boo-coo bucks from the Feds, which would have left the farmers up an igloo without a pail. Yeah, Alaska is far away, and probably not a very popular place for the big news dudes to want to look for news. But after hearing what she did up there, it doesn't surprise me that those news dudes didn't want to report on that. It can't be news if the media's shining stars aren't making it, I guess. They might be afraid of freezing their lips to the microphone! I encourage everyone to do their "homework", researching the candidates, and finding out as much of the truth as the media will allow. Of course, it would be great if those who live in Alaska would tell us the truth on this site, so we wouldn't have to rely on the media. You can't argue with someone who's seen the facts first-hand. I also like the fact that she's a member of the NRA. Why is that important? Because we'll know that she'll be protecting our rights to "keep and bear arms", which is our constitutional right, and needs to remain intact. It's what keeps this country strong folks. No other country can truly measure our strength because of that one little right. And she will be someone who will make sure no one messes with that right. So far, I like what I'm hearing. We'll see, as time goes by. There's still lots of time before "the big dance". <*)))><
