For those who think Taylor won the fight, need to look at punch statistic, numbers don't lie and Kelly threw more punches and landed more punches than Taylor.

  1. Winky Wright would be possibly the only one in that division who has the chance to take Pavlik's belt's. I also dont see anyone in the Light Middleweight division who can move up nor do i see anyone in the Super Middleweight division who can move down to take him (maybe Calzaghe but he's about to retire) so as of now, i think only Winky could stand a chance by just outboxing him, barring of course if the judges dont rob him, Winky is notoriously known for being robbed by the judges.

  2. Winky and possibly Floyd but I dont think he has enough power.

  3. Winky Wright has a chance, but I would still favor Pavlik because Winky lost to a bigger, stronger fighter in Bernard Hopkins (even though they fought at 170) and I think he would once again lose to a bigger stronger fighter in Kelly Pavlik.  Winky still has great defense, so he would have to keep his guard up, and outbox Pavlik like Taylor was for certain parts of their fight.  Taylor lost because he did not punch enough especially down the stretch.  Winky would have to punch for the whole 12 and that is becoming harder for him because he is older and his age has shown in his last few fights.  Plus, he thinks he is worth more than he really is, so the fight probably won't happen.  I would pick Pavlik over Winky and any other middleweight out there today.

  4. The only one who I think has a chance is Winky Wright as he is very good at NOT getting hit. Pavlik has the power but I'm not sure if he could outbox Wright. Bernard Hopkins and Winky Wright both have unique fighting styles that pose threats to dominant fighters. Other than that I think Pavlik would do well against most of the contenders.

  5. Nobody, whose is there for him, duddy?Sturm?, the onlu ligit fighters that have a chance are winky wright and arthur abraham, but abraham wont come out of europe, but there is a possibility that he might come to america to fight on the pavlik undercard to set up a unification bout, but i dont think he would come yet.  I think that wright is very good but no critics or fans want to c him fight wright, although i would b/c it would test pavliks punching power on the steel chin of wright.  But in all honesty the only man in the world that can beat kelly pavlik is joe calzaghe period.

  6. Roy Jones Jr. & Floyd Mayweather!!!

  7. I think Winky would give him a run for his money, but it wouldn't make for a good fight in a excitement sense. Winky knows how to disable long arms, if Pavlik could make his uppercut effective enough he could possibly make a good show.

When winky fought taylor I kept yelling, uppercut d**n it lol Taylors first upper caught winky good but it didnt take long for winky to avoid them. Taylor beat the h**l out of wrights arms, but he still kept up the defense

  8. Yes the punch stats if all else fails the punch stats will redeem a fighter.  I question that sometimes, you could use percentage as opposed to total of punches, who has the higher percentage, then you could use another excuse and who won the round.  There is more to winning a round then just throwing the most amount of punches it does not equate to winning the round just as knocking down a fighter doesn't entitle the fighter to winning a round.

I'd go for Floyd Mayweather to beat him but he looked ordinary against Oscar De La Hoya and Kelly Pavik is a bigger and stronger fighter but you never know.

  9. Very simple! No one!

  10. I dont think there is anyone out there right now in the middleweight division who can take Pavlik. He would annihilate Wright and any other challengers.
