  1. yea, we r civil ppl

  2. it happened not only in the nrl but all football codes around the world.

  3. I certainly am!  Some footballers get a tap on the ankle and go down like they have been shot!! Can think of Paul Wellens for Saints fracturing his cheek bone & eye socket and still playing on. Andy Farrell (prev wigan) & Jon Wilkin (Saints) have both played on with broken noses, just a bandage around their head!!

  4. it happens in every sport but I'm more embarrassed by some south sydney supporters i see

  5. hmm not really.. it happens in every sport...

    ♥ Storm Girl ♥

  6. Not at all... sure some players go a lil overboard trying to sell their innocence, or milk a penalty... but it doesn't embarrass me in the least. It more often than not gives the game a lil levity and me a good laugh.

Now if i was a soccer fan i'd be embarrassed. I watched a lil of the World Cup, and the "Home and Away" acting made the whole thing a joke. (Thanks Italy, for confirming soccer isn't a sport).

  7. diving is in every sport

even in rugby league (scott prince and nathan fiend diver cients)

  8. It's never on the news when Willie Mason goes to Westmead Children's Hospital to see the sick kids...

The only thing that really bothers me about the handful of (younger, and all kids make mistakes) players who get drunk in public and lose their temper is that everyone who doesn't really know the sport thinks it's terrible because of these reports and I get flack from my soccer-liking-mates about 'thugby league' and footballers who have an IQ lower than the number on the back of their jumper and other c**p like that. After the spade of reports recently, I don't even bother standing up for it anymore. I know that it's better than that though: heaps of players these days have business degrees and run business outside their playing career.  How much was raised this weekend? Something like over 60 grand for NRL's one community charities. I'd like to see other codes do better.

  9. To right mate

  10. Bang on! soccer chiefs and officials could learn a lot from R.L. especially when it comes to cheating and dissent.
