After watching this weekends race, I got to thinking, How cool would a night race at Talladega be?

I think it would have to be in April, because of football is a religion here in Alabama.

I think it would be cool. They said the same thing about competing with football here in Texas(Dallas) in November and the fans come out in droves here to watch the race and it starts in the day and ends at night. If it can be done here in Texas in can be done in Alabama.

wonderful idea.  I think this idea has been kicked around for awhile.  All the lights need to be installed but man wouldn't that be awesome if they could pull it off???

The last thing any community needs is an automobile race, day or night. To subject neighbors to the ear-splitting drone of a three hour left turn at night is a very bad idea.

All of you NASSCAR people should follow people who race on foot--these are athletes, not the ungrown-up guys ruining the air as they tool around in a deafening and Earth-sickening circle.
