  1. I think her choice to walk toward Ryan Briscoe in a fit of anger while the pits were hot after their altercation at Indy proves that Danica still does get upset and might not always think clearly and/or reasonably as it's happening.

  2. Danica is not alone in her "gut reaction" eruptions.

Many drivers (and other team members, relatives etc.) have "hissy fits" because of the raw emotion under the "heat of the moment".  It is entirely understandable (and quite predictable.)

If the rants are "unwanted publicity",  then they have achieved their goal.

If they were "truly unwanted", all the league has to do is ban any form of media from pit lane (during, and immediately after the race) while emotions are at their peak.

Sure:  There are telescopic lenses etc. which could circumvent the above-mentioned action.  I'm sure the league could find a way to either "buy-off" the footage, or bring in legislation which bans the publication of such productions.

BUT:  "They" won't.  As the old saw denotes:  "I don't care what they say, as long as they spell my name correctly."

  3. I am Sorry for not answering your question and wasting your time but for all those other people who hate her I would like to see you guys race her then tell me she sucks..........

  4. I personally HATE Danica Patrick! She doesn't race at all!!!! She sits in one position and waits for the people in front of her to crash or run out of fuel because well they all actually try and pass people, unlike her. Some people may call that strategy but I think she is nothing what racing is about! And even it was "strategy" it isn't working very well because she's only won one race! She makes me so angry!

  5. i am in no way, shape, or form a danica wanica fan. but i must say... whats wrong with her getting upset? it just shows that shes passionate about what she does. i would be concerned if she didnt get upset or angry b/c then it would mean that she didnt care. every other driver gets upset but its only dramatized when she does.

  6. The stress level has probably gone down a little because the press isn't going to be constantly asking her when she's gonna win, but she is still going to be just as stressed before each race just like any other driver.

  7. she is a spoiled little brat

  8. I think the win helped with her stress level and her frustration about the " question ".....She is a firecracker, always has been, she gets emotional and let's it show more than others.

We all get upset, I'm grown up and I get upset....

She catches heat because she goes a bit overboard about some things when she gets taken out.....

She needs to settle down when trying to talk to the other drivers after an incident.  She has before and will again be the cause of racing incidents.....All drivers will be in that shadow in their careers. I hope the next time she pulls a bonehead move, the guys she takes out come to her pit and grab her by the arm and poke her forehead.....like she pulled Wheldon and "poked" Lazier....She's more mature but she still gets upset....

  9. She's like any other race car driver...why should she leave the sandbox when the other drivers get to stay.

  10. She's like 4 feet tall.  Who's going to be intimidated anyway?

  11. every competitor in any sport gets mad, its a part of competing, its not hard to understand unless you never competed at anything b4 and im not talkin about playing horse with your little sister

  12. It probably helped her in the driving part, but I don't see how winning a race in Japan would help her not get upset about being knocked out of another race,

  13. Danica has always been this way. Any time she stalls in the pits she throws her arms about and acts like the crew should do more than they can to get her started. She reacts badly during the races and she seems to be a bit s****. in the garage area (when I've seen her there). If she only wins 4% of the time she'll leave IRL and go to Nascar quickly because the pressure will get to her and the $$$ will make her forget about that for a while. Nascar would drop any of their bottom feeders for her in a nanosecond. Probably would drop any of the bottom 20 drivers for her. Franchitti, Hornish Jr. and others haven't done too well and it takes a lot more gusto to drive a 4000 lb car when your used to the 1800 lb car of Indy. Even Hornish Jr. said @ MIS this past weekend that he took nothing from what he learned while driving the IndyCars when he came to Nascar. "It's a totally different animal" he said. It took Tony Stewart a while as well.
