  1. d, barely... but only as a latecomer reason.

    It was a gradual transition, much more fueled by:

    e. failure to be accorded, in Japanese eyes, sufficient respect for its part as an ally in WW1.

    and

    f. increasing international censure and disapproval of its campaigns in China.


  2. im thinking its d, because the russo-japanese war was 10 years before ww1, and i cant recall japan and china ever being allies...plus japan was looking to extend their empire so the League of Nations was trying to prevent Japan from industrializing and expanding. so i think its d, but thats just me
