  1. Maliboo_girl gives one good way to find an agent. Another is to seek out an agency and contact them directly.

SAG's official website has a search engine to make it easier to find a good SAG-franchised agency: http://www.sag.org/node/667

Get in contact with an agency that's near you, and find out what their process is for taking on new clients. You'll likely need to send them a headshot, resume, and cover letter, but every agency has a different way of going about it.

  2. Any good acting school will you give you advice on how to find an agent and many will usually have agents and casting directors sit in on some classes and performances. This even happens in kids and teens classes (with parental permission) where most of the kids are not looking to work.

The school wants their students to get agents and work, because it makes the school look good and helps their business, so they should have plenty of information and opportunities for you when you are ready.

    Good luck!
