After you get a new belly button piercing can you go swimming in a pool 2 days later?

I'd give it a full week to be safe, but you'll probably be okay.  Just be sure to clean around the piercing with alcohol afterwards.

I've never been to a pool that allows swimming with an open wound, and that includes new piercings or new tattoos. It's really for your own protection.

Wait at least 10 days.

I went swimming in my own pool three days after I got mine done. I actually feel like its helped it more than irritate it, I just try not to touch it too much =]

I'm not sure if I'd go swimming in a public pool, but then again I think if you clean it well after you swim you should be fine.

If you haven't gotton it done yet, I'd go for it, just be cautious and aware of what you put near your peircing =]
