  1. I figure you are trying to see how you are measureing up.  Not sure... maybe you are just asking for the heck of it... but of course, it's not how much money you have, it's how much you keep AND HOW YOU KEEP IT.

If you are having financial worries with bills, how to pay and how much is left, I'd like to reccomend a book to you.  Here's a link to get it cheaper than regular retail.

Cashflow Quadrant by Robert Kiyosaki  -  it's very simple to read and should take you about two nights.

    Good luck

  2. That's a really good question. I took my paycheck after deductions and my husband's after HIS deductions, and added it all together, then started subtracting all of our bills.

    I ended up with $2457.00!

This just cannot be correct!!! We never seem to have any money! I'm going to try it again.

Nope, still the same. I think I need to re-evaluate my spending habits!

  3. Enough left to save a little, spend a little on whatever I like, and a little over to share (charities etc.)

  4. Well I won't tell you how much money I have, but with my budgeting here's what my figures are.

For the month of July so far I'm at +$9.  Another week left, I'll probably be about -$50.

Month of June: -$596 (my daughters bday and party).

    Month of May +$4.

    Month of April: broke even.

    Month of March +$218.

I should add that this includes every single bill we pay, our savings account + 2 college savings account, daycare, church offering, and basically every single item we purchase in a month.  This is the amount we have left over which just stays in our checking account.
