  1. i picked mine up on the way to the church.

You have to use it within 60 days of the date on the top..not sure if it is the day you applied for it or the day they printed it. Once it is in your hand though, you can use it the next minute.

In michigan you get the license 3 days after you apply Too.

  2. Every state is different.  The 60 days is how long it is good for after you get it.  So you can use that license up to 60 days after it is issued.  Some stated require blood work and some have a waiting period.  Like in Massachusetts you have to apply for the license and then you can get it 3 days later.  Or you can get it expedited for an additional fee of like 100 dollars or something like that.  So check with your state and make sure you do it RIGHT away, otherwise there may not be a wedding.

  3. I believe you have 60 days to use the license.  Some states do have a waiting period but I have never heard of 60 days.  In TX it is 72 hrs.  Call your courthouse and they will be able to give you the correct info.  Congrats to you!!

  4. ok you go get the licenses they give it to you right then. than when you get married you give it to the person that married you. you can get married after 3 days from applying for the marriage license and if i remember correctly it took about 2 weeks to get it back after it was signed . it has to be used with in 60 days
