Aftermarket muffler 99 f150 5.4 ltr v8

Question

my dad has a 99 f150 4x4 and he wants a better sound from it but doesnt want to buy a whole kit only the muffler i think flowmaster but h**l i dont know anything some help please ?

Flowmaster will work. For about half the price Thrush has a new line of muflers that is made just like the flowmaster. I have installed many of these new muflers and the sound is just as good as flowmaster and cost way less.
