I just bought a pair of pioneer speakers from walmart. I hooked up one of the pioneers to the front and one to the rear. Will the sound still be crappy if I have one stock speaker and one stock. My car is a 1999 Mustang without the Mach System and on the back of the speakers it says 25 watt.

  1. Thats all dependent on your ears and your passengers.  IF you have one new one up front and one new one in the rear, your sounds will be out of phase.  Your ears or facing left and right.  And not front and rear.

So you will hear two distinct sounds one from the left and the other from the right.  One speaker might have lower volume.....or higher mids higher highs etc.  So that difference in sound may make the music sound weird and out of phase.  So again most likely bad.  If anything replace both fronts and put the new ones in the front or replace both rears and put the new ones in the rear...but to mix one of each.....not really a good mix.

  2. it will not sound crappy, it will just sound out of balance because not all the speakers are the same, I would suggest put the pioneer speakers in the rear instead of the front.
