I am looking for a good place to go for Afternoon Tea in Victoria. Already know about the Empress Hotel so I am really looking for alternatives that people would suggest.

  1. There is a nice little place up the street from the empress about two-three blocks up. Many other places by the water front heading into the harbour (north).

  2. There are two other places you can go for tea in Victoria, British Columbia.  Blethering Place Tearoom and Restaurant in the heart of Oak Bay that is the old money area of Victoria and there is a very English appearance and attitude about that municipality. The James Bay Tea Room that is located with in walking distance from the Empress and is located right behind the British Columbia Legislative or Parliament buildings which are located across the street from Empress hotel. You can find the address for the both restuarants in the local Victoria Telephone book under the yellow pages.
