Aga Khan’s Sagawara, Dalkala and Valyra will aim to prevail in the Prix de Diane at Chantilly
His Highness, Aga Khan, is hoping that one of his three runners succeeds in the Prix de Diane, the French Oaks, at Chantilly on 17th June, 2012.

His entries include Sagawara, Dalkala and Valyra, and each of them will bring their best to the track.
It seems that the A. De Royer-Dupre trained, Sagawara, has the most appeal since she recently claimed an impressive victory in the Group 1 Montjeu Coolmore Prix Saint-Alary, where she narrowly defeated the F. Rohaut trained, Rjwa.
A. De Royer-Dupre commented on the three-year-old filly’s form and addressed the ground concerns and told the media:
"Sagawara will be OK on the ground, she has had two runs on soft ground and coped with it. Her dam is by Linamix and I'm sure she can adapt well. She is already a Group One winner. Normally the Saint-Alary is not good timing to run in the Diane but
I hope it didn't take too much out of her."
Dalkala, who is also trained by A. De Royer-Dupre, will not go down without a fight, and her recent record shows that she will be incredibly hard to beat.

With three victories in as many starts, she is aiming to extend her winning streak to four.
The daughter of Giant´s Causeway, out of mare Daltaya, was mounted by rider, Christophe-Patrice Lemaire in the Group 3 Prix Cleopatre at Saint-Cloud, where she defeated P. Bary’s charge, Poupee Flash, by a margin of 4 lengths.
Referring to this race, the trainer commented:
"She was very impressive the last day at Saint-Cloud in a Group Three but I'm a little bit worried about the ground. It may be a little soft for her.”
Valyra, trained by Jean-Claude Rouget, is currently on a hat-trick, as she safely secured two victories this season.
The three-year-old bay filly will be mounted by Johnny Murtagh in this event, and the duo will work together to claim the victory.
The daughter of Azamour, out of mare Valima, established herself as a strong filly, when she landed a victory in the Prix Robert Migaud at Bordeaux Le Bouscat on 14th April, 2012, which was her career maiden.
