Again about 401k plan?

I am new in 401k plan and my question is:

in the booklet of my plan i read:

" The company helps by making a significant matching contribution. That means every time you contribute a portion of your own pay, the company matches it. The match is currently 50 cents on the dollar up to 8 %..

So if you contribute 8%, company will contribute 4%."

Ok. Let suppose that 8 % of my weekly check is 50$.

How much has my company to pay for me?

Then they'll contribute $25. 410K's are about the best investment vehicles for the little guys. Tax advantages and a company match is great. My company only matches the fist 6% at 50%. You have a great deal. Contribute as much as you can. Good luck!
