Again any tips on football fitness?

  1. You need to do more intense workouts to have the appropriate state of fitness for football. Jogging round a field for half hour isn't going to help because you tend to sprint a lot more in football and well most of the time it is verying pace of play. Your best bet is speed training which is great for fitness.

    Speed training comprises of jogging for a certain amount of time and then sprinting for half the time you jogged for. So if you jog for 5 minutes then you need to sprint for 2.5 minutes and eventually raising the intensity. This is what i do daily, you can do the same sort of training at the gym with running machines.

    Don't use the cycling machine though because that works on different muscles than what we use for running so won't help much.


  2. football's a game in which u need to be perfectly fit to play it.So some tips are run every morning,do push ups n a good stretching of your body. This is to be done in early morning. Then in th eve a good football practice.
