Against Global Warming...?

Question

Hi, My name is Rio, from Indonesia....

If we take a look about the global warming (especially in Indonesia, my country) oh, that was so so, embarrasing. =D

So, I thing I must to do something..

I'm 15 years old, 2nd grade at Senior High School.

I want to ask you, can I gather a lot of money (for example, $ 10.000) for help the Earth? How?? And if I have that money, what kind of place that I can spend the money...

i'm happy that someone is interested in global warming! what about planting trees which will absorb CO2. that must work!!!! i wish you all the best!

You can use the money to plant trees that absorb maximum carbondioxide and these trees should be planted in the heavily trafficked areas and you can refer about this to any science teacher or search for help on the net!!

I will go along with planting trees.  Indonesia especially, has a severe deforestation problem that contributes greatly to flooding and mudslides.

Hi, I'm Anne, 15 yrs old,  I'm from a neighboring country, Philippines...

I think I'm an environmentalist myself since I do care a lot about the environment specifically about pollution. In terms of global warming we may not immediately stop it but at least we can control it and slowly diminish it by stopping pollution!

First stop burning plastic, rubber and styrofoams!

Reduce garbage, Reuse and Recycle!

Plant more trees to control the release of CFC that leads to ozone depletion!

Segregate garbage!

Love our Earth and start developing concern for it!

Actually if you could gather such amount you may use it to promote environmental activities like tree planting and the like or maybe introduce segregating garbage into biodegradeable, non-biodegradeable and recyclabels in your community. But if you do not have any money or funds you can start by practicing good habits at home like throwing trashes properly in the right place.
