  1. I think you should start your day at the Disneyland Hotel's Goofy's Kitchen or the Plaza Pavilion in Disneyland Park for some Character Dining.  Afterwards, hop on Buzz Lightyear Astro Blaster.  On the ride, they take a quick photo right before your final Zorg showdown.  And when you get off, you can email your photo home for free which is located at the exit of the ride.  Next, make a stop at Club Buzz for the Jedi Training Academy where younglings can train with a Jedi Knight to defeat the evil Darth Maul or Darth Vader.  Plus, it's really cute to see the kids dressed in a Jedi cape with a toy lightsaber (not all kids are picked to participate).  You might want an ice cream break afterwards since it's hot outside.  Then, head off to Autotopia (let the kid drive) and Finding Nemo The Submarine Ride.  (By now your stomach should be settled enough to go on Star Tours, Space Mountain and Matterhorn) After that, head over to the Princess Fantasy Faire to meet some of the princesses, watch a show and maybe have a princess makeover at the Bibbity Bobbity Boo Boutique.  Next, take a trip over to Toontown.  Everything there is perfect for you pint-size tots.  Don't forget to stop by Mickey's House for a meet and greet.  Time to eat again.  Most of the eatries have special kids ($5.99) and toddlers meal ($2.99).  It's the same thing at each eatry Chicken nuggets or PB & Jelly sandwich with carrots or fries and a drink for kids (except for the pasta places where they offer pasta) and the toddler's meal is chicken with rice and applesauce.  Now, off to Fantasyland.  You might be lucky enough to catch the Sword in the Stone show.  Ride all the rides there.  Don't forget the parade!!!  Next, Fontierland.  If it's really hot then, stop by the Golden Horseshoe for some really good live entertainment.  Your 4 year might be up for Big Thunder.  Then, head for New Orleans to ride the Pirates of the Caribbean and the Hauted Mansion.  Followed by Splash and Winnie the Pooh ride (this ride might make you queasy).  Make your way back through Adventureland for the Jungle Cruise, Tiki Room and the new Indiana Jones show (optional is the ride).  Have dinner but stay close to the main hub for the best fireworks in the world.  After the fireworks show, head for the Rivers of America to watch Fantasmic. And have a good night.  Make sure you get some Mickey Ears.  In Toontown, you can customize your ears and add patches and jewels on it.  :)

Your four year old might be able to go on all the rides at Disneyland Park but you need to check the height restrictions.

    Have a great time!

EDIT:  Take full advantage of Fastpass and Child Switch Pass (need to ask a cast member about it at each ride).

  2. there are some rides for small children & a lot of shows if they have the attention span for it.  they won't remember it, so be sure to take pictures.

also, be aware that the costumed chararacters will probably scare them.

    :o)

  3. You can almost do anything there.  they are to young and will not remember the trip anyway.  Who remembers being 2-4.  My earliest memory is about kindergarten.

  4. Go with the flow and you'll have a great time. (Except with the lines)

  5. Theres actually a guide that you can pick up from cast members at attractions or the front gate that shows all the rides for young children in dinsey land and california adventure. i'd definitely suggest picking that up.

Heres some stuff to keep in mind:

You need a two seater stroller, or two people are going to be pushing. YES. get a stroller for the four year old. her feet are going to be yelping by noon if she doesn't have one.

drink lots of water. It's cruicial.

some rides you can go on:

    *anything in fantasy land

*monsters inc (hollywood pictures backlot, california adventure)

*redwood creek challenge trail (golden state, california adventure)

check out paradise pier in california adventure as well. Theres lots of kiddy stuff to do.

Id suggest watching the parades as well, the kids usually Love those.

    Have a great time.

also, as far as adults go. you guys should get fast passes, and you can go on rides in shifts.

  6. The four year old will probably go out of her mind when she sees all the fun disney rides! There are definetely rides for a child as young as two but they may not remember the experience.

    Have fun!

  7. Take them to toon town! It's a really nice place which have many things for toddlers! Have them get their picture with mickey and its a small world is a fun ride for the small ones. I wouldnt take them on anything to serious because they would get scared easily just stay off the big roller coasters. They might like buzz lighter the ride. Its where your in a small tea cup and one drives and the other shoots! Also maybe mr whiskers ride would be fun for them and for sure alice in wonder land!! Possibly in the car show them the movie of Alice in wonder land and then tell them there going to see Alice.
