Age Gap.....Feeling Brody

Question

I feel really brody, and want another baby and another pregnancy.

I have an 8 month old daughter already, and when i see another mum in the street with a baby younger than my daughter, i feel really brody.

Whats the age gap between your children?

Also what do you think is the best age gap?

Mine are 20 months apart, and so far I'm loving it! I'm in a constant state of tired, having a busy toddler and newborn, but that is really the only downside.

I love that they can grow up together. I love that I can do "the baby thing" now, and be completely done with diapers in a few years. I love that I can reuse all my old stuff from the firstborn without it being outdated, or in storage. It's fun watching how much my first loves the new baby (too young to be jealous! Another pro to close in age).

If you have the energy, I say go for it! In my opinion, a sibling is the best gift you can give your daughter.

I have a daughter that is 10 and a son who will turn 3 in september.If could do things differently i would of had them a little closer in age,because they are both very demanding and are jealous of each other.

wtf is brody?

I think 3 years is a good gap, you want the first out of the terrible twos before you have an infant to care for.

Get over feeling bad seeing a younger child, you cannot escape that.

How about having a career? That would be much more interesting than only being a "mother".
