Age and relationship requirements for adoption?

a friend of mine ( 18 yo, female, single) has a friend having a baby that doesnt want him. could my friend possibly adopt her friends baby?

Age and relationship requirements don't apply in private adoptions unless there are state laws that address these situations.  Have your friends get a lawyer AFTER the child is born (because the mother could change her mind, and having anything drawn up ahead of time could be highly coercive).  Just tell them not to go through an adoption agency - the adoption agency's only concern is getting the money.
