Age of Empires 3 never goes over 60 FPS??

Question

It sometimes goes to like 62 but then drops back in like 2 miliseconds.

My system:

ATI Radeon HD4850

AMD Phenom 9850 BE

4 Gigabytes RAM

What can I do to make it go over because I know people who get liek 70 or 80 on much worse systems then mine.

Most graphic cards run at a default 60 fps. I can't remember if the monitor also limits the FPS but I believe you can change it. Check either the game settings or graphic card options to change it. In my opinion, 60 is smooth enough. The reason people like higher is that higher FPS puts less stress on the eyes.
