Age of zebra finches?

I just bought a new pair of zebra finches. One is a white female and the male is the normal coloration. I know that they are fairly young, but how do I tell? Are there certain colors or patterns I should look for?

No there really is no way to tell the age of finches, but they live up to 4 years, so you have plenty of time right now to spend with them sinse they are young. Usally they will not show their s*x until they are around 4 months old, when the males begin getting the orange cheeks, females will not have the orange cheeks.

When it comes to finches you really can't tell the age.

And finches live 5+ years it all depends on how well you take care of them
