I am thinking about taking the Monarch of Seas to Ensenada. I am In early 20's, and don't want to be stuck on boat with a much older crowd, can anyone give me a ratio? I don't mind if there are families and older couples, just don't want to be the black sheep.

  1. Enseda Crowd is a little younger than the long cruises.  I am 50 and just came back from a Cruise on Holland America...........................Whew they were all in their 80's and 90's.  Even older than me.  But my husband and I gravitated to the younger more active group and had a great time.

  2. I have been a on a Royal Carribean Cruise and you will be fine.  The age varies but there are quite a few of middle aged ones - not to old - there are usually quite a few families of varing ages as well. I was in my early 20's when I went 2 years ago and I didn't feel out of place.

  3. I used to work on a cruise ship, and if things onboard are still the same as they used to be, you will be fancied by all the crew at the very least, not to say that it would be unpleasant for you, it depends on how much attention you like. They used to have group holidays for singles - don't you like they idea of that? At least if you joined one of those you wouldn't appear to be alone.

  4. Royal Caribbean is the perfect cruise line for your age.....carnival tend to have a lot of little kids and disney and royal caribbean is a family ship have a lot of kids but a lot more suitable for someone in their 20's..... princess tend to be adult ship with less kids but I say midage or older usually so it celebrity and holland america

  5. It kind of depends on when you are going, but since you are probably going on shorter cruise, there could be more younger people on there (like in the 20's) Most of the younger crowd (like me and you) dont have that much time to spend. I dont think there is a set ratio though because it depends on when the cruise is. I mean, if the cruise is during Sept to May, then you might see slightly older folks (since the 20's crowd are probably going to classes...) If you go in July or August, then you might find a younger crowd (cuz many colleges havent started the fall term yet)

My friends and i are also thinking about going to Ensenada on Royal Caribbean and the ship might be the same one you are talking about...
