Age requirements on Carnival cruises?

I will be travelling on the Carnival cruise ship Fantasy with my boyfriend in May. He is only 19 and I was wondering if he will be able to get into the clubs even though he isn't 21 and can't drink.

i am going on a cruise in may and from what i understand you have to be 21 just like anywhere else.  i am 24 so i am not concerned about it but i would check on the cruise lines website.

No he cannot. Cruise ships have rules like most states. He has to be 21. Now there are ways around it. but if cought then they will kick you off at the next port.

that depends on where the ship is in canadian waters he could drink as the age is 19 to drink  I am not sure as to international waters as  american or canadian laws don,t apply there

no he cant drink until 21 but he can still get into the clubs i have been in the club on carnival  im  above 18

Carnival is pretty strict with their policy. You must be 21 to drink alcohol. They don't even allow you to drink underage if you are on a European cruise and have permission from a parent. Carnival has had a lot of problems with being noted at the "party ships" or having a "spring break" atmosphere. So, recently they have been cracking down a little more on age restrictions and being a little more strict with these type things.

Now, for the clubs, he is fine. The only time there is a problem there is if you are under 18. They ask anyone under 18 to be accompanied by an adult and they are supposed to leave by 10:45 and are not allowed to attend any R rated shows.

So, no alcohol will be able to be consumed by him (they usually don't say anything if you buy a drink and give it to him, though I still wouldn't do this because there is a chance you would get caught, and it is definitely frowned upon. Carnival will not serve him an drinks) As long as he is not drinking in the clubs, he should have no problems. The age for the clubs is actually 18 and up, it is just the alcohol that you need to e 21 for.
