Question:

Age to be ON THE FLOOR in Atlantic City Casino??

I am 19 years old and it's my boyfriend's 21st birthday. His family planned to take his friends and I to Atlantic City to celebrate.

I am not planning on trying to gamble OR drink while I am there, I just want to play it safe and hang out.

I was just wondering: if you aren't playing games and you're just hanging out with people on the floor, will you be carded??

Also, if I'm with his mother and father and their friend- will they card? If they card and I have a fake and get in trouble, will they be hard on me if I'm with her and she just takes me out?

  1. Don't mess around with it, its not worth it and if you get a guard in a bad mood you could be arrested for trespassing.  They probably won't hassle you if you are actually walking, but if you stop and are standing still, even though you are not gambling they will likely card you.

  2. u gotta be 21 no exception even to be ON THE FLOOR. Been there and it happen to me so yeah

  3. You must be 21 to be on the floor. This is because they serve alcohol and allow gaming without carding everyone. If they allowed underage people to be on the floor, then they would have to be more restrictive about letting me play. This would slow down action at the tables and be almost impossible to control machines.

If you can get past the guards at the entrance, then you will probably not be carded if you don't play. However, if you are asked your age it is best to tell the truth. They will simply say that you can't be on the floor and ask you to leave. As long as you are not gambling, you will probably not get in trouble.

  4. It's 21 and if it were me I would'nt bother because you wont get in and if you do you'll risk getting asked to leave every second your on the floor...

Not worth it and if your boyfriend does this I would just miss it out I I was you. And really why would you want to go and stand in the casino while everyone else your with is gambling anyway you would basically be left out.

  5. The age is 21, since they serve alchohol.

You do not have to show your id to any casino personel even if they ask for it, if you dont show them they will likely ask you to leave.

  6. most casinos will do nothing if your under 21 and just on the floor the worst thing that will happen is youll get kicked out and your back to square 1.  If you get a fake id you need to make sure it scans because when getting a players card to play slot machines they scan your id.  If you get a players card under your name they will not bother you as long as you stay at slots.  playing table games is asking for trouble. If you get caught with a fake id it all depends on who catches you.  If a floor man catches you youll probably just get kicked out but if an under cover cop catches you which there are a lot of in casinos you might face criminal charges
