Age to buy cigarettes in Spain ?

Question

How old do you to be to buy cigarettes

do you need id or anything?

is it the same age everywhere in spain?

Will they just sell it to you no matter how old you are???

18 is the legal age to buy tobacco in spain..by law the bars that have machines now have to have a remote control  for them to switch on behind the bar , so that minors cant use them...saying that..around here they are a bit laid back about it.

It is 18. You can now only buy from tabacconist stores and you will need ID also It is Spanish law that if you arent a resident you have to carry your Passport with you at all times. Be careful though there are a lot of gypsy's in Spain. Plus you will need photo ID to buy anything in Spain on card.

18 years,but it's easy that you can catch it with less age,because there are people that want sell and sell,or simply you can look older but be careful.

you have to be 18. Some people will sell them to you without asking your age, but not everybody. You can also buy them in the automatic machines when nobody is watching.

No one checks your ID in Spain whether you buy the cigarettes at a bar or an estanco (tabacco shop). Thirteen year olds can buy cigarettes in Spain.  

Don't worry about it, you won't have any problem buying them.
