Age to go on holiday alone?

hi i live in UNITED KINGDOM and im 17 am i legal to travel abroad myself ? or is it 18 i really need to know ASAP thanks :P

Im 16 and been looking at goin on holiday with friends for next year, i also live in the UK. most holiday compnies such as cosmos, thomson etc will not accept anyone under the age of 18. However they said that if one person in your group is 18 then u can travel,Therefore they will be responsiable for your group. :) hope this helps.

Well me and my friends were in the same position one year ago when we were wanting to go abroad but we were all 16 and didnt know the legal age. We went to the travel agents and asked about it and they said that we could go abroad alone when we were 16 as long as our parents agreed to it however if your parents wont agree to sign the forms you have to be 18. We went to Magaluf and really enjoyed it and there was no problems with our age at all, just a little tip incase your wondering where to go. :)
