Agent Joe Urbon feels Grady Sizemore is open to all options – MLB News
As soon as the Cleveland Indians declined to exercise team options on Grady Sizemore, his agent Joe Urbon started to find other options for his client. Not only is Joe involved with taking his client’s free agency matters under consideration, but he is also
speaking to the media on behalf of Grady Sizemore, who has yet to comment regarding Cleveland’s late actions.
Recently, when several reporters asked Sizemore’s agent Urbon regarding his client’s next plans and where potentially he will be heading in the 2012 MLB season.
Urbon explained in detail and said, “He’s open to anything; He’s not limiting his choices at all. He wants to have an opportunity that will allow him to show he’s still the elite player he’s been, in a perfect world, he’d love to play center field. You can’t
ignore the fact that’s where he won two Gold Gloves, where he’s been a three-time all star.”
He further stated that Sizemore will be more than happy to play for any good MLB side and also ready for upcoming spring training session. Though, no team has officially showed any interest to sign Sizemore, but some newspapers have speculated that the San
Francisco Giants, Washington Nationals and Milwaukee Brewers are among clubs who are likely to consider him in order to upgrade their centre-field.
Grady Sizemore is a highly talented player and knows his game pretty well. His past experience in the MLB has given him some extra confidence and is now looking determined to play anywhere he will be given a chance. He was part of the Indians franchise for
the last six years and now developed himself as tough individual with ability to adapt different environments.
However, it is still hard to conclude where Sizemore will be heading for the next season but this is pretty well understood as many teams are planning and will likely announce their interest officially in the upcoming days. It will be interesting to see
where Sizemore ends up and what type of an impact he can have for his prospective team in the 2012 season.
