The Turkish international has enjoyed a fruitful debut season at the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Vicente-c36001 Calderon but agent, Ahmet Bulut is uncertain over his long term future.
Atletico Madrid added their second UEFA Europa League title in three years with their new signings starring at the grandest of stage they could find themselves in.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Diego-c11058 Ribas da Cunha scored late in the second half to seal the match in their favour.
Which the South American duo shared the limelight, Arda Turan worked his magic from his wingman role, giving service from the lanes and finished the match with an increased assist tally.
The Turkish international’s move across the border was much publicised, as his critics claimed that he would fail in the Iberian Peninsula like his other compatriots.
Nevertheless, with a match remaining until the end of the season, Turan has Europa League winners’ medal to boast off and a possible UEFA Champions League qualification.
The exciting winger has impressed visiting scouts and has been speculated to join a top tier European club in the upcoming 2012 summer transfer window.
Reflecting on the situation, Turan’s agent, Ahmet Bulut, stated that his client is happy with his humble surroundings after 40 odd appearances but refused to rule out a forthcoming move.
Bulut coyly stated that the 26-year-old still has three years left on his contract but he does not know what the future holds as the end of season approach.
He added that an irresistible offer would be hard for Turan and the club to reject, given the much publicised financial misgivings of Atletico Madrid.
"Now he's one of his team's important players - he's played 40 games."
"I don't know what's going to happen at the end of the season. Maybe he'll leave Atletico. You never know. Maybe tomorrow an offer will come that's good for the club and for us," he said.
"He has a contract for three more years, but nobody except Arda knows whether he will stay for three more years. Plans change all the time in football."
Atletico will test their wits against Villarreal at El Madrigal in their final match of the season.
