Agent rubbishes criticism on Marek Hamsik’s commitment in the Bayern Munich game

The agent of Napoli midfielder, Marek Hamsik, has rubbished claims that his client played poorly in the latter stages of the game against Bayern Munich.
Napoli suffered a 3-2 defeat at the hands of the German giants in a UEFA Champions League encounter at the Allianz Arena on Wednesday, November 2nd, 2011. Mario Gomez scored a 25 minute hat-trick to put his team in a
commanding in the first half. A brace from Federico Fernandez gave http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Napoli-c40003 the hope of a remarkable comeback but they fell short in the end.
Several football pundits questioned Hamsik’s commitment for the team in the dying stages of the game and they believe that the Slovakian lacked the desire. Agent, Mino Raiola, rubbished the reports and refused to go into details
of the topic and insisted that the last time he talked on it, everyone took him wrong.
“Hamsik's negative performance in the closing stages? I disagree. I do not think Marek is playing badly, but I do not want to touch this subject because the last time I said three words I had to explain for a whole week.”
However, the agent insisted that his client has always been an important player for whichever side he has played for and he plays for the team. Raiola added that the Slovakian was on par with the rest of the players against Bayern
Munich. The agent insisted that had the game against Jupp Heynckes’s side lasted a little longer, his team could have scrapped a draw.
Asked on whether his client is happy at the Stadio San Paolo, Raiola admitted that the former Brescia star would not have been at the club if he was not happy there.
“Marek has always been a valuable player in quantity and quality; he always puts himself at the disposal of his team. I also believe that if yesterday's game had lasted just a little longer then Napoli would have drawn. Is Marek
happy in Naples? He would absolutely not be there if he wasn't.”
Napoli have slipped down to the 3rd spot in the Group A and the next two matches hold immense importance in terms of qualification to the next round.
