Agents can you get into the west end without them if you're a minor?And if not why not?

I'm curious if you just do classes and don't have an agent can you still get in?

  1. Yeah , you can, although its very tough.

    A lot of kids roles come up via open auditions (that means anyone can go). They are advertised in places like The Stage website, or on the Shows own site. Thousands of kids turn up to auditions like this, so you need to be prepared to wait around all day, for a 5 second audition.

    To perform for money, anywhere, a minor needs to have parental/carer permission. Often, even to attend an audition, a guardian is needed.


  2. You probably can but it would be easier if you had a parent or legal person to help you.
