Ages of the Sims 2 characters?

Question

Does anyone have an idea of how old the Sims 2 ages are supposed to be? Like how old a toddler is, a child, a teen etc look?

teenager 15 days

adult 14 days

senior 21 days

as for looks, they all are different from one to the next.

Surely you can work it out from the names the ages are....

Oh my god. YOu must know what sort of ages babies, toddlers, children, teens, young adults, adults and elders are...

I imagine a toddler would be 1-3 years of sim life, then child looks to be 6-12, so they skip a few years there, Teen looks to be 13-16 and adults seem, 20-30. Elders? 60~ish.

I like to think that each day in their time as that "age" would be a year... For example, an infant usually celebrates a birthday in 2-3 days to become a toddler.. That would make them about 2.5 years old.  3-4 days later, they're a kid.. That would make them 5-6 years old and old enough to be in school and so on and so forth.

Your average SIM lives about 70-90 days total.. that would make sense if you convert those days into years.

Now you just have to figure out why they're pregnant for 4 days... lol
