http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Daniel-Agger-c9884 has revealed that he is more than willing to extend his stay with Liverpool and is looking forward to representing the team in the future.
Ever since he joined the Liverpool first team, Agger has gone on to have his fair share of injury problems. This has often ruled him out for portions of the season, which lead to many believing that his days at Anfield were numbered.
However, with him maintaining his fitness and proving to be a very important part of the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809 squad this past season, it seems like he has finally grown into the Liverpool mould.
The player currently only has two years left on his contract with the team, but based on his progress with the team, he is willing to extend his stay with the team and put pen to paper to a new contract.
At the moment, the Merseyside club haven’t approached the player, in order to ask him to extend his stay, but he seems to be intent on finalizing a new contract in the near future.
When talking about Liverpool and his desire to stick around at the club, the defender is quoted to have said: "It's no secret that I'm happy to be in Liverpool. Otherwise, I would not have been there for six years"
"I have not [discussed a new contract] but if they come with an offer I will surely sit down and talk with them.”

"It's not something that is urgent, for I have contract until 2014, but if they ask I will listen.”
The defender then went on to turn his attention to the new Liverpool manager, Brendan Rodgers, as he feels he will be able to get the team back on track and help them start winning trophies once again.
He continued: "I am looking forward to meeting the new coach. I've seen what he has done at Swansea, and it has been impressive."
It is now a wait to see just how the centre back performs this coming season, considering his dedication to the club and the change in management at Anfield.
