I have been wearing contacts for about 3 or 4 years now, but lately have been having problems. My first brand was fine i had them for the 4 years, and now recently they started bothering me, so i tried acuvue but those ripped too easily on me, now i'm wearing freshlook and they have been fine but lately i'll put them in and my eyes burn and they don't stay in the right spot in my eye, they move up and when i blink they move and hurt soo bad! I'm switching back to the first brand again, but i was wondering if anyone had the same or similar problem and what they did?

  1. There could be any number of reasons for your problem.  If you have allergies, if your eyes are dry, if your lenses are poorly fit, you could have these problems.  From what you say about your current pair, I'm worried about an allergic condition known as GPC (giant papillary conjunctivitis).  This is an allergic response that causes bumps on the back of your eyelids.  When you blink, these bumps grab your lenses and pull them up.  Do your eyes itch immediately after you remove your lenses such that you want to rub them?  Do you get mucous strings?  Did your doctor flip your lids at your last evaluation?  If not, go back, because regardless, you need to find a solution.
