Aghowle Native favourite for D.H.S. Begley Peterborough Graders Derby - Heat 3
Aghowle Native has got a solid chance of claiming the D.H.S. Begley Peterborough Graders Derby - Heat 3 at Peterborough in England on Wednesday, June 20, 2012. The winner of the Grade A15 event will walk away with a cash prize of £98.
The distance to cover for all participants will be 420 metres and the action will begin at 20:53 GMT. A total of six quality hounds have been attracted towards the race and their names are as follows: Bonnan Bui, Milliesupreme, Billis Hotdog, Aghowle Native,
Skyline Fleck and Surrey Boy.
Looking at the record of all participants, it appears that the competition will be a tough one. However, Aghowle Native has got some useful experience and his performances in recent times have been decent, which makes him a top contender for victory at Peterborough.
He will definitely attract a lot of bets from the punters.
The P. Ward’s trainee has been taking part in different classes recently and he has been impressive in them. Importantly, his form has been good, which will boost the confidence of his supporters at Peterborough.
Out of his previous three outings, Aghowle Native has managed to win once whereas his performances in other races have also been good. He delivers good results with consistency, thus it will be difficult to match him in the race today.
In his most recent run, the black dog finished third, despite being rated as the favourite to win. This was a touch disappointing for his fans, but he is still expected to make a strong comeback.
Aghowle Native did not have any issues last time around, but he simply lacked the speed to match his opponents. He will have to make some improvement this time around in order to cause problems for the others. A clear run is likely to put him on top of the
table today. He is the son of Westmead Hawk out of Boin De and was born in November 2009.
On the other hand, the bookies have more confidence in the abilities of Bonnan Bui, who is a fine performer. He is carrying the winning momentum, as he managed to win his most recent race. However, his overall performances have been a touch inconsistent,
which will discourage the bettors to risk money on him.
