Juventus President, Andrea Agnelli, has voiced his joy at winning the Scudetto, and insists that the league title is a dream come true for him.
The Old Lady were confirmed as the Champions of Serie A, after their win over Cagliari was followed by AC Milan’s defeat to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 Milan.
The Bianconeri chief insisted that the Serie A title is a great feat for the club, and a dream realized for him. The club executive added that the Vecchia Signora was on the verge of getting engulfed into oblivion, but insisted
that the Scudetto triumph has helped everyone connected to Juventus to feel proud of the club.
The Italian businessman stated that the league supremacy was his first ambition after taking over the presidency for the Old Lady, and insisted that the journey to achieving that aim has been a long and treacherous one.
While talking to the press, the 36-year-old said:
“This result is the first dream come true. For me this Scudetto represents the rediscovered pride of the Juventus people. This was the first objective I had set myself when becoming President two years ago. It has been a tortuous
journey.”
Agnelli insisted that the secret to success behind any venture is the appointment of right people, and believes that it were the individuals he chose, that brought back the right approach to the Old Lady.
The Juventus executive stressed that he was faced with a difficult situation at the Turin giants when he signed up as the President, but insisted that he was able to manage a dramatic turnaround, thanks to the selection of the
right people.
“As with every business, and sport is not an exception, what makes the difference is the people you choose. When I arrived two years ago, I found a difficult situation. I had to pick people who could bring the right approach back.”
The Bianconeri chief went on to hail coach Antonio Conte, insisting that the tactician instilled the vital conviction and determination in the team, that allowed the Old Lady to capture the Scudetto.
