Agree or Disagree: Subjecting a teenager to death or life in prison for drug dealing?

A 17 year old male been caught trafficking cocaine for first offense, been caught second time, and was caught a third time selling 2 ounces of cocaine to a 14 year old, and continues to sell cocaine and traffick it.

Would you agree with life in prison, or even death penalty?

Life in prison.It's obvious he didn't learn his lesson the first 2 times and selling to a 14 year old is just disgusting. Scum like that need to be locked up for good. The first step is rehabillitation, but after that if they don't straighten up, lock em up.

Woah, death penalty....yikes(ending someones existence over a silly powdery drug isn't cool) and life in prison is crazy harsh as well, I would say maybe 2-6 years would be fair.

Life in prison seems reasonable. He's refusing to change when he has the option to, and he's been given many chances. Killing him probably isn't the best idea unless he has taken away somebody else's life who has deserved to live. Obviously if you let him out into the streets again he'll most likely continue with selling drugs, so unless people want this to happen, keep him in prison.

while life in prison and the death penalty is harsh ( grown men who commit murder don't even always get that} I do believe that time served in prison would be appropriate. Now that's prison mind you not juvy. being as this is his 3 offence and he is not a child any longer it would most likely do more good than a slap on the wrist.

NO... that's horrible, he's just been hanging out with wrong people, maybe like bootcamp or 2 years but NO that will ruin his whole life!

NO......I do not believe in the "3 strikes" law, especially for a 17 year old and especially for drug offenses. There are soooo many other people that we need to keep locked away like child molesters. For them, I wish there was a "1 strike" law.

While I do feel they should see time, life in prison is far too excessive.
