I don't believe in FATE.

Agree...

Man getting a divorce. Wife is stringing him along and taunting him with the idea that she may return, in order to suck whatever she can get out of him - money, car payment, etc...

Why can she do this? Why does everyone around him see this but he gives and gives anyway?  She can use his hope to gain residual dead relationship benefits.

One word: HOPE. Hope that she may return, when the reality is that fate will reveal itself to him after hope has screwed him the final time...

If he could only love himself enough to wake up and throw hope in the trash where it belongs, it may save him...

disagree, ive seen faith do amazing things

hope doesnt degrade (denial does, and theirs a differenence), people might poke fun at you for hoping but in the end they are the ones looking like bums

c**p happens but it doesnt control you, you can react any way you want and prove more than your circumstances

only god can save you. You either have hope or doubt. hope can lead to doubt when you give up hoping. God is love.
