  1. Animal Science (Animal Husbandry), Plant Science (Agronomy and Horticulture), Agriculture Economics, Agricultural Engineering, could include subjects like Aquaculture, and Organic Farming.

  2. I recieved a degree in Agriculture education.  My basic agriculture classes ranged from bioliogcal studies of plants and animals and the nutrition that was needed for them to reach peak performance.  I took class that focus on just the modern practice in agriculutre and the marketing behind them.  I took classes that focus on the cutting edge of the agriculture research and even conducted my undergradute reaserch project on Biodeisel.  I took a welding class and a mechinacal systems class.  I took an agriculture communication that focus mostly on writing.  I even had an agriculture Enginering class that had more math than my highschool calacus class

What I'm really trying to say is there is a wide range of thing covered in Agriculture Classes.  It depends on what you want to study,  Where you are at,  and how in depth you want to get.

  3. I took agricultural economics, animal science, agronomy and soil science.

  4. You will do a lot of biological science classes, the study of plants, a little chemistry - all the things that will make you a good agriculturalist.  If you are interested in farming or if you are interested in working in the farming industry, this is a good field.

    Hope that helps.

  5. The Ag science class I took was an entry level class to see if you have any interest in studying agriculture further.  It introduced you to farming, ag economics, veterinary science, horticulture, etc.
