Agricultural engineering.....help and advice plz....?

I wanted to know abt the scope of agricultural engineering in future...and abt food engineering too.... plz answer if you have any idea...

The agricultural engineering will have a vast scope in future. But this can be harnessed by only a few since for that one needs to believe very strongly in the fact that there is a scope and I am fit to explore it and go ahead.

Secondly the agricultural engineering will work well when you have better knowledge of the various crops their harvesting requirements and how to use the engineering tools and design them to the new breed of mixed crop agriculture.

In my view, some of the biggest efforts to be implemented shortly will be related to providing more water to more hectares of land.

Part of this will be restructuring the land itself to allow more water to sink in and be retained, contouring to preserve it, and likely protection of the soil from evaporative losses.

Very large works to store millions of tons of water for whole provinces will not be in the scope of agricultural engineering, but preparing to distribute that water, and to avoid upswelling salt will be a big part of agricultural engineering.

Recovering urban waste water for irrigation will also be a major effort.

In a short time we may be seeing almost no water running off  the land and into the oceans, so extensive will be our efforts to retain water.
