When talking about the game, the defender took to his Twitter account to state: "It's a shame that we let those three points [slip] away at the end. But this is just the beginning and everything will go better, I'm sure”
However, the striker went on to admit that he was quite happy to be back in action, following his injury and hoped to be able to continue playing at full strength for as long as possible.
He added: "To all, thanks for the support on my comeback. I felt really good on the field and with every match I'll be better in shape."
City are currently sitting in the seventh spot in the league, and the team really needs to start stepping their game up, if they are to climb back into poll position, as they look to claim the league title.
The team will now take on Aston Villa on Tuesday, followed by a clash against Fulham on Saturday. Should they manage to win both those games, then they would see themselves rise back into the top four, as they look to successfully defend their league title,
this season.
