Manchester City’s forward, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Sergio-c33030 Aguero has admitted that he is quite happy after scoring the most important goal of his career, on the last day of the Premier League season.
Aguero went on to score in the 94th minute of City’s game against QPR, as he helped his side go on and win their game by three goals to two, with the last kick of the game. At the same time, this win went on to help the team win their first ever
league title since 1968, which ended a league trophy drought of over forty years for the team.
When talking about the goal and just how important it was to him and the team, the Argentine forward is reported to have said: "For sure it was the most important goal of my career.”
"You score a goal in the last minute to win the title. I'm not sure that is ever going to happen again.”
"QPR were fighting for their lives. They sat back and we knew they would make things difficult for us on the counter-attack."
The attacker then went on to admit that he was over filled with joy at the end of the game and with the countless fans running onto the pitch to greet him and thank him for the goal made him happier then he has felt in a while.
The prolific goal scorer then went on to add: "During the [pitch] invasion, loads of fans came over. They grabbed me and kissed me. But the only thing I understood was, 'I love you'. That made me so happy.”
"Since I arrived at City, everyone has treated me really well. I repaid them with a goal to win the title and make history.”
City and Aguero will now be looking to come back in the coming season stronger than ever. The team needs to continue where they left out next season and in order to do so, they need to continue to perform to the very best of their abilities.
It is now up to City to show everyone just how good they are, as they look to defend their title next season.
