The Espanyol coach fears that the match against Real Madrid will be a very difficult one for his side and that they will have to perform at their very best.

The gap between Atletico and Real was 8 points just two weeks back and Madrid managed to cut that short to 5 points following their win over their city rivals.
Real Madrid will be desperately looking to stay on the heels of fellow title contenders and dropping further points is no more an option for Jose Mourinho’s side.
Espanyol have to travel to Santiago Bernabeu and will have to pull a massive upset if they are to restrain the current champions.
Espanyol coach exactly thinks the same way and wants his side to play at their very best to test Real Madrid’s resolve.
He also thinks that his upcoming opponents possess great quality amongst their ranks and breaking them down in very difficult, however he was looking for an upset to happen and will wish his side to come away from the capital with a result.
“My team will suffer if they do not give everything,” he told a Press conference. “Madrid are a team that kills you if you leave spaces for them.
“We must play a full match, together, as a team. If we try to match them one-on-one we will suffer.
“But we have legitimate reasons to think we can win. History could be written in these 90 minutes.”
A win for Espanyol will come as a huge surprise and Real Madrid’s title hopes may well be washed away if Aguirre’s men put up a fine performance, and that may well be remembered for a long time.
