Ahaaly set to stand first in WWW. Dundalkstadium.Com Maiden
Ahaaly is all set to show a sterling run at Dundalk racecourse on Wednesday, April 11 in a bid to break her maiden. The Kevin Prendergast-trained bay filly holds the highest odds in the betting market for WWW. Dundalkstadium.Com Maiden which is going to
commence at 6:50 (GMT).
The high-staked contest over a distance of 6 furlongs has €6,900 in purse. Ahaaly will confidently face 13 competitors including Wasabi´s House, Dream Applause, Arabela, September Lily, Art Show, Devine Acclaim, Fantastic Mystery, Pipers Choice, Secret Vale,
Aidan, Caucestown Lad, Blue Medecis and Cuis Bawn.
The dashing filly has just one race on her career chart. Making her debut on March 29, 2012 at Limerick racecourse, she elegantly grabbed a runner-up rank in her maiden outing entitled as Irish Stallion Farms European Breeders Fund Fillies Maiden.
This was indeed a marvellous performance which boosted up the talented filly’s morale to a great extent along with establishing her at a favourable position in the market.
At the moment, the three-year-old novice runner possesses immense enthusiasm which she will put in place in today’s showdown which is going to be a challenging start for her.
If the filly manages to exhibit a clean and offensive run, her chances to finish first can be as high as 90 percent.
However, two of Ahaaly’s competitors like Art Show and Wasabi’s House can give her enough tough time.
Art Show has been delivering impressive performances since her debut in August 2011. The R. McGlinchey-trained bay filly excellently grabbed third spot each in her last two starts. She is going to run at Dundalk track for the very first time in her career.
On the other hand, Wasabi’s House clinched 4th position in her maiden race on November 4, 2011. The John M. Oxx-trained brown filly stepped ahead to finish second in her last start on November 18. Both these races were held at Dundalk.
A sterling success is waiting for Ahaaly. The only thing she needs to do is maintaining the consistency of pace during the race. Let us see the way she performs. Good luck to the filly.
