Ahhh! So p**sed off! What to do? ?

Ok so my family was going on a weekend trip to ny, which turned into 4 days, which turned into 5 days which turned into a week.

I'm somewhat of a homebird so I wasn't impressed. I asked could I invite my bf (who of course would pay for flights and his own food, and even pitch in for the money for the apartment) and she said maybe. Now she's saying that he can come but she's not happy about it.

I dont wanna go without him because i'll have no one to talk to. I cant even call him or anyone at home because it's so expensive. And i cant talk to my mam because she's crazy. And not the fun kind. The psycopath, paranoid, neurotic kind. My younger brother is horrible to me and calls me "weirdo" and "split ends" and shoves me (he's fat so it's not nice), and my dad is boring...

So she doesn't want my bf there cos she wants it to be a family holiday (even though she knows i'll be miserable), and she doesn't trust me to not have s*x and get pregnant....while she's in the apartment.

My alternative is staying home with a "friend" who is a control freak, her weird twin brother, and their mam who will probably plan icky things to do like every day....

How do I deal with it???

(And I'm not a spoiled brat I just dont like going away, so no one say I'm ungrateful)

Just bring your bf. Can't be that bad.

I’d bring your man with you. Sometimes you just need a little support. Either way you won’t be happy to participate in this “family holiday”. You might as well have a partner in misery! If he is paying his way, bring him and be in bliss! Doesn’t sound like mom is the type to have fun even if he didn’t come. Remember you painted that picture of her, who knows maybe she will?
