Ahhh im going to a new school and I am soooooo nervous!?

I'm in term three of year eight but my school is c**p because people are getting bullied heaps, and the teachers are mean. there was even a teacher at my school who raped someone, so im definitely moving schools as you can imagine.But I'm soo nervous though, I'm afraid that there are going to be cliques, and that it will be hard to make friends. im switching from a private school to a public and im afraid i wont make any friends. how do I make friends . Please help.....

Each school has it's own bullies, and each school will always have cliques! Don't worry too much about it, your definately going to be nervous on your first day, who isn't?!   Every school will most probably have something bad about them. If things start going badly, not try and react bad, fire against fire.. you'll only get burned! Just be sure to be yourself, and don't try to change just to fit in.

Just be yourself, it can be easy to make friends if you relax and just act cool. Smile and try to make general conversation with people. You will definitely make friends it just might take a bit of time. Maybe join a school club or something if there are any, that way you can make friends who share your interests. I made some good friends when i started school through a tennis club. =] Good Luck!

WOW THATS A HUGE STEP....BE YOURSELF...PEOPLE WILL COME TO YOU...AND WHEN THEY DO DONT REACT SO BIG...JUST ACT COOL....PUBLIC SCHOOL AINT THAT BAD....IVE BEEN THERE ALL MY LIFE...OH AND YES THERE ARE "CLIQS" WE CALL THEM FRIENDS WHO LOOK LIKE ME =]
