  1. ok take some Tylenol or motrin and DO NOT eat anything hard your teeth will feel loose because to straighten your teeth they first have to lossen them

  2. same thing happened to me when i had them. this is something you will go through every month when they get them tightened..usually it hurts for a couple days each time but than goes away..just dont eat anything hard... eat very soft foods..and take ibuprofen or tylenol...sadly, this is something you will have to get used to :-( sorry

  3. well i just got my braces off today and i got a retainer

    1. if your teeth are lose i would try going to the dentist mabey they put it on way 2 tite or you broke somthing

    2. take advil it's stronger and last longer

    3. i'm sorry to say but every one lys for most people it takes about 5 days  or a week or somthing like that  but it's diffrent for every body and  the pain will go away slowly evry day

    3. 4 food you should eat pudding ,banana's,yogurt, and soup, cerel if if it's soft like cheerois or somthing pb and j is good 2 for a school lunch

    4. SUCK on ice don't dare to chew it

good luck i hope i helped

  4. What a coincidence. I just got a note from my kid saying his brand new braces were hurting him. I suppose it's a common thing. He also said his teeth felt loose like they weren't his own teeth. It depends on how old you are, and what medicines you can take. He isn't taking anything. He said he can tough it out. Are you old enough to take some Tylenol? Be sure to check with your parents to see what you might be able to take, unless you are an adult getting adult orthodontic care. It should feel much better in a day or two. See if you can get interested in a good TV show or some music to take your mind off your pain. Good luck.

  5. take advil, or tylenol

your teeth will feel loose, how else will they move?

lol, the pain will go away in about 3 days i know when i got my braces, i was dying! and the best part was that my mom made steak and corn on the cob that night

lol so that was even worse

I get my braces off tomorrow! i cant wait (:

  6. I remember getting my braces put on too. I was in so much pain. You should take just ibprofen or advil and try to sleep, watch tv, go on the computer or something so you aren't focusing on the pain. I took oxycodone when I got mine on but it ended up making me throw up. Also just eat very soft foods like toast, soup, noodles and so on that way you don't cause yourself more pain. You will get used to them in about 2 weeks.

  7. u could take the medicine said all before but also sugarless chewing gum help ur jaw not hurt and that helps alot!

  8. ibprofen but it will hurt for like 3 days eat icecream and yogurt. anything soft really

  9. I remember the first day with my braces it was very hard. My mouth hurt and everything like yours. You should take a Motrin or Tylenol. And if it is your teeth that are hurting then put some oral-jel on it to make it feel a little better. Hope they stop hurting soon when I went to bed that night they felt better!

  10. use tylenol.

and make sure you eat soft foods (like soup or bread) for about a week and a half and then start trying to eat foods like chicken and stuff like that. after about 2-3 weeks with braces your teeth will start to feel a lot better.

i had my braces. but i just got mine off.

don't worry, i cried the first night i had mine. like literally cried myself to sleep, but you'll get used to them eventually.

  11. just take a tylenol, and be easy on your teeth...dont eat anything too hard. & then you'll feel better in a day or two

  12. I took extra strength Excedrin...It helped alot....hope u feel better

  13. I can definitely relate, i got mine recently and i thought it would never quit, but it really does get better, it took a little over a week for me, so hang in there and take ibuprofin, it helps. trust me as you can see by all the responses to your question. You ll be fine.
