  1. navel piercings are prone to rejection, and soaps and alcohol can encourage rejection. sea salt soaks are there for a reason. use it.

  2. You used too much!

get rid of the alcohol and get rid of the soap, just use salt water

twice daily, do not touch or mess with it, should clear overnight, you may have caught it in the night.

also have you changed the bar? if so change it back.

  3. it sounds like it's just irritated, it was a bad idea to use the alcohol, if you clean it more than usual because of this then it's just going to get worse. just stick to a sea salt soak 2-3 times a day and it will get better in no time

  4. i had my nipples pierced twice and had to remove them twice. they would not heal.  you may have to remove it.  your body is trying to expel a forgein matter

  5. It sounds like it may be slightly infected if it is oozing pus.

You seriously need to avoid rubbing alcohol, soaps, anti-bacterial sprays etc. Just use a very simple salt water solution to clean your piercing. Just put a very small amount of salt into some warm water and gently clean the piercing and the surrounding area. This is by far the very best thing you can do for any new piercing. This should also help to clear up the infection. But if it gets worse, go to your GP who will give you antibiotics to get rid of any lasting infection.

If you're in doubt however, go back to your piercer and get them to take a peek at it, they'll put your mind to rest.
