Aidan O’Brien seeking positive results
Trainer Aidan O’Brien is looking to make a strong impression in the upcoming races at Chester in England with some of his young challengers like Ruler Of The World, who doesn’t have much experience at the highest level.
According to the veteran trainer, “He's a colt we like a lot. We've been happy with him since his maiden win and nicer ground this time will suit him. He is quite lazy and the experience of this race should do him good.”
The three-year-old runner is not seen as a major threat for some of his rivals in the upcoming events in England, as he doesn’t know how to handle pressure. He is very young, but possesses the talent to trouble his opponents. Although he will have to be
careful, yet he can take other by surprise in the end.
Overall, he has participated in just one race, which shows that he will be nervous before the race. However, he proved his critics wrong last time around and his team is pretty much confident that things will be the same this time too.
In his only outing, the talented colt was given a general starting price of 2 to 1 and he was not expected to finish on top of the table. Despite that, the bookies showed immense confidence in his abilities and the punters also gambled a lot of money in
his favour.
He did not disappoint his fans back then and finished on top of the table after a thrilling battle against some better performers. He will be looking to repeat such a show once again, but things will not be the same for him next time.
The weather might play a crucial part in the result of the upcoming races, which is why most of the trainers are quite concerned.
A clerk from one of the courses in England said, “It is due to start raining at around 10am and it could continue through much of the afternoon, with up to 5mm forecast in all. We're leaving the going as good to firm overnight, but the rain will have the
potential to turn it to good at some stage.”
